Staff is attentive and orders arrive promptly. The menu has a great selection of classic nigiri, sashimi, and creative rolls, all made with fresh ingredients. Similar sauce used on the rolls but overall great experience.

I found this wonderful sushi restaurant a few weeks ago and have been back every week since. I've brought my friend and family to try it also. The best shrimp tempura ever!!! It's huge! CA Roll is creamy and delicious. Salmon skin is thin and crunchy beyond belief. They also serve Orion in bottles. Owners are warm, welcoming and very very attentive. This is now my favorite Japanese restaurant in the entire Bay Area. I highly recommend!

Pretty good bang for your buck here! I ordered the sashimi tempura combo and it was definitely really filling. Thiccccc slices of sashimi- tuna and salmon that tasted fresh. A wide assortment of vegetable tempura and one shrimp! The bento came with rice and a side salad which was good!

Furagu Sushi was pretty good. The prices are great and the food is fresh. The service was attentive. Ambience may not look much and definitely not fine dining. Good parking outside on the streets. Sushi rolls were good. Bento box was good but smaller than other places. Overall decent meal and pricing here for lunch.

We went to Fugaru for a late dinner because a nearby sushi restaurant was too busy to seat us. We ordered a bento #2 and boat #1. I liked the mackerel, it was nicely grilled, juicy, and a good amount. Everything else was just good or OK but I need to bring home the rest of the tonkatsu and chicken teriyaki. The texture of the tempura and the taste of the California roll were a little bit off. Clean, quiet restaurant. Nice servers.

$128.40 food for 4, to go. (No tax or tip). Steamed White Rice - good, hydrated and cooked near perfect. Calamari Katsu - 10 or so rings with a katsu dipping sauce. Good but the value wasn't there. San Mateo Roll - It was ok. Spicy Tuna Hand Roll - good flavor with a market value. Cucumber and Avocado Roll - standard, enjoyed. Lion King Special Roll - I was overwhelmed by the mayo sauce. Hawaiian Roll - good. Chicken Teriyaki (App) - thin cut pounded out and cooked as well as it could be, but the value didn't hold. Not worth the price of admission. Gyoza - so/so. I'd pass next time. Also value is questionable. Vegetable Tempura - good. The hot breaded items were packed in containers that didn't have a cut-out, so I had to open those for the car ride home. It was a good meal, but nothing to place it above so many other good sushi restaurants. If it were my neighborhood, it'd be my local. But it's not a drivable return. Bonus is they do open at 4pm.
